Al Raneem International Private School is one of the most respected international private schools in the Sultanate of Oman, proudly located in Al Amerat, Muscat. We are a bilingual school, offering the Cambridge International Curriculum from Grade 1 to Grade 12, alongside the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC) in Kindergarten. This combination ensures that our students receive a balanced, high-quality education rooted in international standards and enriched by local values.
In 2017, the school rebranded as Al Raneem Private School. In a significant milestone, and by Ministerial Decision No. 30/2023 issued on May 16, 2023, the school officially became Al Raneem International Private School. We are proud to be the first school in Oman to receive this upgraded international status within our category, marking a new chapter in our journey of excellence.

IEYC (KG1 & KG2)

The International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC) is a child-centered and research informed curriculum for 2-5+ years old. The IEYC recognizes best practice and the developmental needs of early years education that enables teachers to embrace the interconnected nature of learning.

Cambridge Primary (G1 to G6)

By offering Cambridge Primary, we provide a broad and balanced education for our students, helping them to thrive across a wide range of different subjects, including English as a second language, Mathematics and Science. There are plenty of opportunities to develop creativity, expression and wellbeing.

The Cambridge Primary framework consists of 6 stages for each subject which reflect the teaching objectives of each stage.

Cambridge Lower Secondary (G7 to G8)

Cambridge Lower Secondary is for students aged 11 to 14 years. It prepares students by providing a clear path as they progress through the Cambridge Pathway in an age-appropriate way.

Thus, by offering Cambridge Lower Secondary, we provide a broad and balanced education for our students, helping them to thrive across a wide range of different subjects, including English as second language, Mathematics and Science. There are plenty of opportunities to develop creativity, expression and wellbeing.

IGCSE (G9 to G10)

Today, it’s the world’s most popular international qualification for children aged 14 to 16 years. Not only is it truly international but it also gives students more options than any other international qualification. Cambridge International Qualifications are recognized by the world’s top universities and employers, giving students a broad range of options in their education and career. Cambridge IGCSE syllabus is specifically designed for international students. For over 25 years, IGCSE syllabus has been regularly developed and updated to suit a wider range of abilities. IGCSE (G9-10) is a 2-year program, begins at the start of grade 9 and ends in grade 10. The IGSCE examinations are conducted under the supervision of Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE).

As & A Levels (G11 to G12)

A Level is a 2 year Cambridge International Program taught in Grade 11 and 12. Students study the AS Level in grade 11 and the A Level in grade 12.

The A Level Program is recognized by British and leading Universities around the world. Students obtaining A Level qualification are admitted to study the Bachelor Program.

A Levels are among the world’s most recognized qualifications which are highly regarded by leading universities and offer opportunities for early specialization.
